Title: help required clutch cable

hiya all ive just swapped my 600 engine for a gsxr 750l engine and as some of you know the clutch mechanism is on the opposite side to the bandit does anyone know if there is a cable that will fit straight on outer length is the same as the bandit but inner length is about 2" too short any help on this would be appreciated

hiya ive tried what i thought was a gsxr cable and it is about a foot short of what i need many thanks

You may have to do the investigation on this one yourself... I believe the 750 coversions here used motors with the same style clutch as the B6 (ie GSX750F Katana).

You might check around some of the shops and see if any of them can make cables. I haven't had to do this in many, many years, but I did have to do it for a throttle cable once that the manufacturer no longer supplied. One of my local m/c salvage outfits had the capability to fab up cables.

When I changed my 98 Bandit 12 over from a hyd. clutch to a cable clutch, I went to the Suzuki shop, and they ordered my cable. I don't remember the name of the company, but you could specify any length you wanted.
 It just came to me, it was "Barnett Clutches and Cables"
