Just got my panels and tank back from the spray boothe. The guy at the shop told me he had to send the tank off to be shot/sand blasted, prior to painting. When he got it back, there were a couple of holes underneath where the rust had gone through the tank. He filled the holes and sprayed up the tank but recommends I put some kind of sealant in the tank, prior to putting petrol in.
Does anyone know what this is called, how it's used and where I can get it from (I'm from the UK)? From the way he was talking it's readily available (though he couldn't remember what it's called) and you simply pour it in the empty, dry tank, swish it around a bit, leave it overnight and then empty the tank and voila!, tank sealed petrol-tight forever. Is it that simple?

Kreem, a tank lining chemical system that uses three different liquids to clean, dry and coat the tank internal surfaces.

I've used Kreem. PIA but worked great. Some folks say POR 15 is better. Check out this thread (http://forums.banditalley.net/viewtopic.php?t=338).
