My wife and I went for a short ride from 100 Mile House, BC to Likely, BC about 300km round trip. My wife's younger sister rode with us, she's a new rider so we were just doing the speed limit. I got 65 mpg-about 54 US on my '07 B1250 and my wife got 70.8 mpg- about 58.9 US on her '07 SV650. I was impressed, take the bike and leave the car at home.

That is outstanding - on both counts! :beers:

Wow! The very best I could get out of mine was 36mpg (us). But its a 1st generation w stage II jetting,K&N pods, full holeshot ex.
I had a SV1000 (recently had to sell it to pay back property tax) and once got close to 50 mpg but mostly closer to 44mpg.
Either one was better than my work van @ 15 mpg.

I agree, 36 mpg on my 1250 with PCIII and Yoshi pipe. That is driving around town though.
