hi all
im loking for a left engine case
ive been through ebay and on 1 auction it said that the gsxr, katana etc engine case could fit on a bandit 600
is this true??

You're just talking about the cover that goes over the starter clutch, right?

If so, one from a Katana or early SACS powered GSXR 600/750 will fit.

Iam not an expert...But I would say no... the 400 is water-cooled and 600 up is oil cooled... like the old katana, gsxr, and Bandit's (86 to 92). Like I say just trying to give you a general Idea.... some wizards hopefully will post all the info later.

Dragbike is right, the 400 is from a different family of engines.

You can buy the 600/750 covers in heavy-duty, crash resistant form from the aftermarket, too.
