« on: June 11, 2012, 05:41:57 PM »
Hello I have a 1999 B12 done up streetfighter style jet kit,K&Ns mid pipe and can etc.I started up the bike after storage in May and it had run fine.Today after storing the bike for over a week cause of rain I start it up and it has a huge miss, sounds like a twin.Ran it a bit to see if it would clear but no luck.I figure it's the carbs but it would
be helpful to know how someone else who has had this problem fixed it.I've replaced jets and needles in my carbs but have never had to clean a set of carbs so I need the complete how to.......Thanks.....

Are you getting spark on all the cylinders? Take a lead off and remove a plug let the base of it touch the engine and crank it over, you should see a spark.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.
