Hi all, a big hello from the UK.
this is my first post so please be gentle with me!
I'm hoping you Bandit guys can help me out with a problem!
I need to know if the 600 Bandit rear wheel is fitted squarely in the swingarm or is it offset to the left or right?
Or, is the swingarm offset in the frame?
The reason I need to know is I'm fitting a 1996 600 Bandit 4.50x17 rear wheel to my Honda CB900F,
(yeah I know its not a Suzuki but hey, I am using the wheel) and I'm having trouble lining it up!
The Honda swingarm is offset 5mm to the left so I thought moving the wheel 5mm to the right would line it up but it doesn't.
I have the suzuki wheel spacers and rear caliper bracket so I know the wheel is spaced as it would be in the std swingarm!
So, does anyone know whether the swingarm and rear wheel are in line or off set to the right or left?
Thanks guys, any help greatly appreciated.
Freddie19.

I know your's is an old post but here goes. I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know how to determine it. Take the measurement from the right swingarm to the center of the STOCK Honda wheel, do the same with the Suzuki wheel. If there is a difference, then adjust shims on the right side. Regarding the chain ...??? you may have to play with shims under the sprocket if it (the sprocket) is further to the right. If it is offset to the left, that will be a bigger issue as you will have to look at what adjustment is possible at the engine sprocket to move it out (to the left) Good Luck!
