Left my torque wrench set for a few days...
« on: September 29, 2006, 10:44:04 AM »
About 75% of the max setting.  Forgot to reset it after the oil change.  It doesn't see much use (other than for bike).  Does it need to be recalibrated?  Realistically?  If so, how do I go about doing it?  I got mine through sears.

I would just test it by checking the torque on some bolts I know I'd done recently. If it reads properly for those, then its probably okay. Of course do it carefully, work up to the proper setting. Or if its a craftsmen and covered by their lifetime guarantee (do they still do that?) maybe just take it back and let them deal with it.
