I went for a ride on my Bandit 600 the other day and about four miles from home my bike developed a sputter. Kind of like right when you have to switch to reserve, only I had over a half tank of gas. It only occured at small throttle inputs, but unless I opened it up more the sputtering would stay. My motor was sounding like a sheep! It didn't matter how fast or slow I was going. If I opened the throttle just enough to speed up say 5mph or so it would sputter away and not speed up. If hammered it would willingly scream right on up.
When I got home I went all over the bike and just couldn't figure it out. I opened the gas tank thinking there was maybe a vapor lock not letting gas flow out, but that wasn't it. I tried everything, (almost). Then I thought about the sparkplugs. I pulled the #4 out and it looked very normal. The next day I picked up a set of Autolites 4302's. Cost me every bit of $6.17 with tax for a set of four  I threw them in a BINGO! it fired right up and ran like a top! :bigok:
Ok now I know your all wondering where does the Nyquil fit in?
Well I've always said that for me Nyquil is the cure all of cure all's. I can be a sick as a dog, have a cold, broken arm, cancer, etc, one dose of Nyquil and everything is all better. So.. from now on if my bike ever starts running bad, gets a wobble, headlight quits working, tire goes flat, I'm just gonna change those amazing sparkplugs and all will be right with the world

Darn! I thought you were gonna tell us Nyquil is the new STP treatment or something. I was all ready to ask if it mattered if we used the original Green Jaegermeister flavor, or if we could the Cherry Brake Fluid flavor as well.

Interesting - I'm going on a long trip this summer which will probably just about take me to the first scheduled plug change...maybe I should change them before then? Seems to run , fine, though....

Make sure to dip them in Nyquil before inserting them.
