hey can someone tell me whats what on the petcock on my 97 1200

You have 3 settings on the petcock.

(ON) Gas only flows when engine is running. Vaccum operated.

(PRIME) Gas will run continously when in this position.

(RESERVE) If the petcock is (ON) and your bike quits running because it's out of gas, put it on (RESERVE). You will have approximately a gallon left. :beers:

i mean which way does it point for each one.

(DOWN) is (ON).

(HORIZONTAL) is (PRIME)

(UP) is (RESERVE)

The settings are stamped on the petcock itself. :bigok:
