Title: Replacing cartridge fork damper rod bushing
Post by: bikeb4cage on June 26, 2007, 10:33:02 PM
Anyone ever replace this bushing?  On a B12, it's a teflon bushing on the damper rod - I scored one a bit when installed gold valves.  I imagine it's similar to installing a gold valve...take the nut off, replace the bushing, use locktite and 30 in-lbs.  Not 100% sure though - I have a call into Racetech to see.  I'll check the manual (Haynes) again, but didn't notice it in there before.

thanks
Jay
