shift linkage out of whack
« on: August 17, 2011, 11:06:35 PM »
I just got new sprockets and chain on, test rode fine but shifter felt high, so I tried to adjust the shift linkage and now can only get in and out of first! whats the trick to getting that right? Is it just real finicky?

I didnt take into account that its much harder to up shift when engine is not running. :duh: It its kinda of finicky though. BTW anyone have a mileage range on Pirelli Angel ST? wasnt my first choice prefer the Shenko Raven radials, last long and cheap.

I've recently put a set of Pirelli Angel ST's on my Triumph Sprint ST 1050.

I loved the tires...near Sport Tire grip levels. Front is still looking good at 11,000 kms (6875 miles), rear replaced at approx 9500 kms (just under 6000 miles).

Pretty average for a set of Sport Touring Tires for me. I've got as little as 6500 kms out of BT 20/21 and as long as 11,500 kms out of Mich Pilot Road.
