Who has installed the Speedo Healer? How difficult was the install? Are you happy with the SH?

Never heard of it before, but it sounds like it's much better than the "Yellow Box" (http://www.blackrobotics.com/yb_home.htm)
From the looks of the site, installation is pretty simple. Unplug the speedo sensor from the harness, plug in the SH unti jumper in between the two plugs and you're done. (Short of the calibration part.)

Or you can go up one tooth on the countershaft sprocket and fit a 170/60-17 rear tire and bring the speedometer to less than a 1% error.
The odometer is now off by about 5%, but since the same electrical signal is used for both I don't see any easy cure for this error.

seems to me that even though the speedo is 10% over the odo is spot on

Phoo on it get a Sigma 800 bicycle speedo . this little sucker is adjustable in mm of wheel circumference to correct the readout IT GOES TO 183 MPH & reads miles to 1/100's Also has a clock & an average speed calulator. It was $25 plus $3 shipping.On my bandit it's mounted to the handlebar in the center. Mine indicates off a radio shack rare earth
magnet , I drilled the rt front disc carrier & glued it in. the sender is
mounted on a piece of alum behind the bottom caliper bolt & painted black--only thing that sows is the wire taped to the brake line./

While the Sigma is a much cheaper alternative you can't read it in the dark - unless you add some kind of light on your own. What Sigma ought to do is come up with a 12v lighted unit since they are popular add-ons for the m/c community.
AFAIK, the Yellow Box will correct your speedo at the expense of making the odo off, according to the speedohealer site, their product is able to correct the speedo and leave the odo alone.

Easy to install and program. You tap into the wires leading from the countershaft sensor to the speedometer box. It takes about an hour to do it right, then another 1.2 hour to set-up the controls.
You need to know exactly how far off the bike is before you change the sprocket, so you can add this error to the known error of the change.
