How much can the crank be stroked(longer) without getting into clearance issues with oil passages or drive gears? I expect to have to run spacers under block to compensate. Was also wondering if the euro 1400 bandit crank could with little mods go into the 1200 cases to make a factory stroker deal.

By euro Bandit 1400, I assume you're talking about the GSX1400?
I've seen some comment on how this is just a bigger Bandit 1200, but looking at how different it apears, I'm not so sure there is a direct family relationship. I haven't heard of anyone swapping in a GSX14 crank into a B12, but I have heard of bandits with stroker cranks and big bore blocks reaching the 1500cc range.

Greetings Gordon; I've looked into 1400 also a little. Seems the parts and exchange rates for usa is not cost effective. If U do find a supplier let forum know. they have a sweet 6 speed trans. sandy.

So far no joy on mating the 1400 crank to 1200 bandit . It appears it would be better for me to just have my crankshaft welded and stroked. There is a place in LA (several) places I am going to talk to about this since the Big blocks for these have dried up. I am thinking 4mm would not create gross clearance issues but gain a fair amount of displacement.

You might try a set of busa rods. bit longer much stronger. that way you may recoupe some cost of crank mod over custom rods. let us know whats happening. sandy
