Ok i have been away from my bike thanx to the demands of the navy. I came home took a look at the bike where i was swaping out sprockets. I had the cover off & there is where i had left it. I didnt undo anything beyound the cover & now that i have come back there is a what looks to be a "speed sensor"? just lose. The wife said my son had messed with it (hes only 3) where in the world does this thing go ??? I vant even find it displayed in my manuals.. I know I sound a lil daft. But any help would be great.

It should hook up on the cover...somewhere....
I see areference to it in the Haynes manual regarding sprocket removal.
It says to just leave it attached to the cover.....(Haven't seen where/how it attaches, yet)
What year and model do you have?

It's a 2G, obviously, and it shouldn't matter if it's a B6 or a B12, they both use the same setup, just the cover is different for the cable or hyd clutch.
What are you looking for? Where it plugs into the harness, or where it bolts into the cover? Worse ccase scenario, I can swing by your place and you can look at mine....
