Try Here:

http://www.portablepct.com/fastlarry/banditfaq.htm

For my 2005 Bandit its:

(Engine must be dead cold)

Intake valve: 0.10 - 0.15 mm (0.004 - 0006 inches)
Exhaust valve: 0.18 - 0.23 mm (0.007 - 0.009 inches)

Considering it's the exact same engine(air/oil cooled) I'd wager dollars to doughnuts it's the same. If you like you can put the bike in 5th gear and turn the back tire instead of taking the timing cover off to check the valves.

I started to say that but knowing I had a Haynes manual I was going to double check.  Now what actually happened is I didn't get home until after a few  :beers: and totally forgot.... :duh:  Maybe tonight...   :bandit:

Yep, you're bang on. I just checked my Haynes and it's the same for all early year B6/12's :thumb:
