Title: VIN location

OK, so I've searched the site with no luck and though I assume it's been answered before, I need to know where to locate the VIN number on my '03 B12S. Thanks in advance.

On the 98 model it is on the frame near the steering head on the right hand side. It is an aluminium plate. I assume the 03 model would be the same.

I think the steering head is the standard location for all bikes, right side.   You'll probably have to move the front wheel back and forth a bit to find a clear view.  Have a flashlight handy.  Mine isn't a plate though, its etched into the steel, and it is very hard to see.
