Well, I got to put the laser aligner on....
« on: June 17, 2007, 11:19:29 PM »
my bike last night after I installed my new Dunlop D205 rear tire. I found out that my chain adjuster marks are right on the money. This is something I'd wondered about after reading some posts about inaccurate marks by other board members.
Apparently the new-style swingarm has better fabrication and quality control going for it.....at least on #17.....
One less thing to concern myself with. Now, if I fall off, I can't blame the chain adjuster marks, anyway......or the ABS, for that matter.

Thanks, Rick, that's good to know.

I realize that to be absolutley sure, I should take the opportunity to have my bike tested on the laser, and I will.

But I'm reasonably sure my swingarm is marked accurately... they were correct from the dealer, they are correct after my adjustment, and they line up correctly using my various test methods.

Glad yours is OK.
