Which manual to buy?
« on: April 06, 2005, 02:25:08 PM »
Which manual is generally considered to be better, the Clymer or the Haynes? I'm not in a position to go with the factory manual at this time, and I don't want to buy a book if it's not going to give me the information I need.

Most people like the Haynes.  I've got both, and really can't tell you if there are many important differences.   The Haynes is available in both hardcover, and softcover.  The Clymer only soft, I think!
FWIW,  I grab the Haynes first.......just a preference, since it's hardcover, and I'm tough on books!

You can usually find the OEM manual on CD for $5-20 on ebay all the time.
