What do you all think of this little bike?  It's close to me.  I kind of dig it.  Not sure what I think of powder coating the tank and side covers, although by no means do I think it looks bad...just different.

I've been on the lookout for a cool second bike.  Got a couple of days to decide.  Any thoughts on it?

Nice little bike!  Great shape for its age and it looks complete.  Those old Honda CBs are becoming collectors items.  They have quite a following and you'll find a web site like this for them.  You can still get parts at the Honda dealer, they're not in stock but they have a company make them.  I'm getting a '79 CB 750 as an early inheritance soon so I'll be wrenching on these soon myself.

That's funny... I almost bought this on Ebay last week for my wife to learn on...

It's the exact bike I rode on the back of in the early 70's. (My dad's)

Strange coincidence:  It was located in the town I grew up in.  Could even be my dad's old bike for all I know.

I had a bunch of the 500/550's back in the late 70's,coolest was the 550 Super Sport, weiredest was a 500 with a 10" over front end and straght pipes. They all ran good with minamal maintance. Right now my toy bike is a 1976 Honda CJ 360 T.
edited to adda pic of what a CJ looks like
