Hope they had fun at the concerts, because it seems like TN made sure they didn't have any fun on the road......

Guess it's kind of expected when you promote a high profile event, in an area that draws Law Enforcement attention too often.
I hate to say it, but they probably saved some lives....... :duh:
Like, wow, these are the guys I want to follow across the dragon!!!!!!
(From the Rally website!!!!!!!)

Note how the last bike is squarely in the center of the opposite lane. and the one ahead of him is on the centerline!!!!
:duh:

As rodney carrington would say "fred's ridin' fred"

Guys, these are actually smart riders, who still value safety.
What looks like hair on the passengers legs, is actually a 'spray-on' aerosol product that contains KEVLAR fibers.
This adds a little skid protection, while giving the impression the rider is actually a dumbarse that rides only in shorts.
(it's all about 'freedom', you know...)
The KEVLAR product is an offshoot of the 'spray on hair' product you might have seen advertised on late night commercials.
(The colored talcum powder stuff that is intended to mask bald spots on men.....)
ABATE is trying to get the Kevlar spray approved in several states, as an alternative to Helmets, particularily for bald riders.
The product seems to have caught on with Lesbian riders, also. I saw some pretty hairy arms and legs on a group of them, lately.
I just wonder why they had to protect the armpit area, though? :?:   :stickpoke: :blahblah:
-
At the very least, the bloke on the second bike aint gonna have smelly arm pits, bet they are nice and dry     :stickpoke: :duh:
-
Well, it's just confirmed for me that it's not just Australian HD riders that think that 'T' shirts, leather vest and a 'skull cap' will help keep your skin attached should you fall off.
-
They probably think that they are burnin' up the road.....Hey Matt....that second meathead has those fine handling "apes"....
-
Lynn, you need to get some of those apes on that Busa. :beers:
-
I just had the funniest image of Lynn's busa with ape-hanger clipons...
-
Here he is, in full regalia........
You can hardly tell it's a 'busa'.........

must...buy...cap...........Ok, I give...I remember the scene from the movie, bumbling leader, but not the name, got to be late sixties.........I like his Triumph though......apes on a busa...instead of going up with the bars I'm going down with the seat via Mr. Tobin O'Conner.....

Laugh on Rob me lad...did you find that access cover on your garage floor..?
-
Eric Von Zipper, in a bunch of the 'beach' movies of the early 60's, Lynn.
I think the actor was Harvey Lembeck.
He was the bumbling leader of a 'biker gang' that terrorized the beach.
:duh:

Found it....now I recall just why that I had forgotten that movie....not exactly "Easy Rider" material.....
