I took these at the top of Yarnell hill, AZ. The closer one is my bike and the other is my friend's bike.

I had a heck of a time working around the glare issue.

I should be in Phoenix in October, hope to get some pix like that of my own. (But it would be a rental bike, just like next month in Denver.)
-
That is generally a good time of the year to visit Phoenix. Send me a message when you get here and I will try to meet up with you. If you get me some definite dates, I might be able to take some time off to ride with you.

Nice looking pair of bikes. :bigok:
It's kinda cool to have twin bikes in those colors, especially of you put them together with another set of contrasting twins... my background scenery isn't near as good, though.

Kinda like an old Doublemint commercial except with motorcycles! :bandit:

Hey ZenMan - you got a spare for when yours is in for service?

I wish!
The one on the right belongs to Katamaniac... I rode up to meet him the day he bought his bike (same dealer) so we could take pics of the two together.

I actually wanted silver but it wasn't available then. I remember reading an article about how the B12 at a glance had the perfect expression of power in any parking lot and always drew attention from strangers with question about how huge the engine looked. That pic is a framer.

Thx, I actually got my photo editing program working and got the haze out and spruced up the colors. The pics look even better now.
-
Love the look of the black rims and can on the front one!
Things are pretty busy this weekend, but I'll try to make it out to the paviliion this Saturday.

Cool, I should be able to make it out there this weekend. I don't see any reason why not. I should be there between 6:30 and 7 pm.
-
The second bandit now has different bodywork. It has the limited edition blue/white body work. I must admit, without the fairing, I really like how it looks. I didn't care for it with the fairing because it didn't look right to me. Maybe it was too busy. But on a naked bike, it looks really good. I am going to try and get some pics done this weekend.
-
Wes Cooley replica with out the fairing. I personallly am really impressed with it without the fairing. With the fairing, it seemed too busy and I personally didn't care for it. What do you think?

I like it! :bigok:
But then I like that scheme with the fairing, too.
Looks almost like the '04 Limited Edition (not offered in North America):

That would be it, except for the frame color. I personally like it with the silver frame better than the black. it is a shame that they stopped the nakeds in '03. I wouldn't have mind getting that version in the naked.
-
I added some more pics. These pics where taken by a friend of mine of his bike. I just touched them up a bit and added text to one of them.

Nice!

thx, I didn't take these pics, just edited them.
-
Hey Zenman, I took your picture and made it a bit more scenic.

Wow. that looks great! Nice job!
All the naked bikes on page one look great too. Sometimes I wish mine was, then I remember why I like fairings when it rains. :bandit:
Too bad my pic was so overcast... I'd love to see a photoshop with those two bikes sitting next to the first two silver bikes... that would look awesome. But the sun is shining in that one... it'd be tough, aye?
-
Slightly overcast is the best time to take pictures. I hate sunny days because then I am fight glare and shadows. I get my best shots on slightly overcast days.
-
Yeah, but what I meant was, it'd be hard to photoshop the two black bikes in the same picture as the two silver ones, because one pic is sunny and the other one is overcast.
I just think it would look cool, the 4 Bandits lined up together... two black and two silver... ya know?
-
I might give that a try. I could brighten up the black ones first and then work it in.
