Always wanted one of these...
« on: October 07, 2005, 09:27:23 PM »
...since the day they came out!   Almost bought one several times, but didn't follow through.

Liquid-cooled, six cylinder, big, and beautiful shaftie!  To me anyway.  Any of you guys had one or have one now?  What do you think of it?  I might bid at the last minute tomorrow.

When I was growing up, my uncles were always working on one of those Kaws. Riding on the back with one of them was my first exposure to motorcycles. I have a fondness for those bikes for that reason.

Its fairly cheap for the condition. I'd buy that sucker if I were you. :beers:

I remember when Doug Domokos, "The Wheelie King," (RIP - 1955-2000) used to do exhibitions on KZ1300's back when they were new... one of the parts of his show was to break the tail light.

Here's a couple of cool videos of Doug riding a wheelie up, then down, San Francisco's famous zig-zagging Lombard Street. Not on a KZ1300 though.

One word "BULLETPROOF"
We are looking for a motor, well maybe, if we can work out a way of converting the shaft to chain. Why you ask?.
To fit into our F1 sidecar.
Foot loose and fancy free.

Needless to say w/ case damage, not worth fixin.
