Got my top case for 1250 at last
« on: June 22, 2007, 06:30:21 AM »
I got one of Suzuki's color-coorindated top cases for my Graphite Blue Metallic B1250 yesterday. Will take some pics at the weekend and post here. It looks very smart.

Since I said I'll post some pics, I may as well add them to this thread as well as the other one talking about 1250 Accessories.

BTW - where did u get the FendaExtenda ? I can't get one anywhere for my 650 (should have the same front fender as your 1250)

...edit... neverming, u're in the UK... you guys are lucky !  :duh:

Nice looking cases guys! Do you notice any difference in handling when you have them on?

Givi and Kappa (OEMed for Suzuki) are made in the same factory in Italy so I understand and guess they have the same designer a bit like Seiko and Pulsar watches made in the same factory.

The Fenda Extenda came from Pyramid Plastics - they ship to the US no problem.

Awosme - i'll check it out... let's just hope they ship to Canada too :)

Do you find that the FendaExtenda helps somewhat in keeping the pipes and engine cleaner (than without it on) ????

Inall honesty, not really... I've had the case full of stuff and other things loaded on the bike before and no real difference... I do notice a difference when i have a passange tho...

I've not done that many miles but I can't say I've noticed a difference with the case on or off. TBH, I only know the case is there when I get off the bike.

Looks really nice, also a built in backrest for the passenger too. I want one!! You have a link for that? I tried Suzuki's site and they are not listing that yet.

The back rest is an optional extra. It wasn't listed for the 1250 but since the case has the same part number as the case for the Burgman (do you get that model where you are?) I ordered the back rest listed for that.
