Title: Another bike checking out of the U.S.?
Post by: Desolation Angel on May 11, 2006, 10:43:12 AM
Someone on another board hinted that the Katanas were going the way of the Bandits for 2007.  Anyone heard or read anything?  I like these little bikes.

The smart thing to do would be to replace the 750 Kat with an 1100 to fill the missing Bandit void.

I will agree on that one...But not like the old 1100's retractable windshield?? And too much weight!
The only constant in the universe is change.  :crybaby:

I imagine the Katana line will be gone soon.  They've been around a long time and have about ended their product life.  Not to mention they have carbs.  I think all carbed bikes will be gone in the next few model years.  Emissions will kill them plus I don't think dealers like messing with carbs.

I kinda like the look of the Katana but just found the riding position really uncomfortable.  Dunno why...
