I noticed that some of the links for Blades' Bandit were stale.  Paul pointed me to his new site, and here's the link for the bandit articles.

I have not had the opportunity to get her dyno'd, but I estimate her rear wheel horsepower is now some were between 160 and 170 RWHP.

hhhhhmmmm, Sounds like he is quite optimistic unless he has something really special in frame.

It's not your "average" B12 motor. He's got a 1216 kit with a ported head, bigger valves, GSXR cams, 38mm Mikuni smoothbores & Holeshot full-system header/can. It's certainly not an unrealistic claim for crankshaft HP and may even be pretty close for rear wheel HP. Dale got 148.2 rear wheel HP with a similar set-up (Dale's was short the bigger valves and smoothbore carbs).

if you have the drive space and time, I'd pull down and archive what I wanted from his site.

Thanks for the heads up.

It has been a joy owning a bike with such strong community.  I hope that good info continues to be easy to come by.

My advice (knowing Bill like I do), if you have the drive space and time, I'd pull down and archive what I wanted from his site.  The last time I talked to him, he told me he was going to be pulling down the Bandit stuff since he's getting away from them.

Just my 2 cents

I am sorry, but Ranger is not correct. I am not getting away from Bandits and I am still doing work on them. Although my pages are down right now while I work on them. If you need any advice or help, please feel free to email me at billj56@verizon.net or call me at 760-314-7042
