Hey, I'll trade you weather!  It's cold (30s) and drizzly and rainy.  And I don't mean Celsius!

Speaking of winter, I hooked el Bandidio up to a Battery Tender today...first time ever to chicken out and go that route.  And also gave myself new headlight lamps (Sylvania Silverlight Ultras).  Livin' large, baby!

But still, Merry Christmas to you down under and to you up in Canadia and to you the big pond, too.  As for y'all here in the U.S.:  merry crimmus! (...or Happy Hanukkah, if you're more the "festival of lights" kinda person).

Hey, I'll trade YOU weather. It's cold here (-4 to -22) and snowing. And I don't mean Celsius! (-20 to -30 C). But we did get all the way up to +3 F (-16C) today for a high! Almost tropical.

Anyway...back to the message...

Merry Christmas to all - enjoy the full spirit of the season with friends and family.

and a Happy New Year - I'll be bringing in the New Year in Hawaii this year. So goodbye cold and snow :thumb:

Merry Christmas to all!

Hey, Paul, I just want one thing from you for Christmas... QUIT SENDING YOUR WEATHER ACROSS THE BORDER!  :bandit:
Us folks down here in Wetern WA aren't used to all this white stuff and cold temperatures.  We aren't supposed to get snow until Feb or Mar, if we get any at all... not before winter even officially starts.  Temps around here have been ranging from 32F to 2F for over a week and a half and the forecast shows this trend is going to continue for a while.  Normally, this time of year, they'd be upper 30's to ~50F.

Yup...just north of you it looks like every part of Canada will have white Christmas this year. The first time in more than a decade. Victoria, B.C. on Vancouver Island normally doesn't get snow most years. Today they hold the Canadian Record - 41 cm. The North Pole only has 40 cm currently, (according to the weather guy on the radio this morning).

I've got about 2 feet of the stuff in my yard right now!  I've gotta hand it to the snowplow drivers though, they've done an admirable job keeping the roads pretty clear.  Especially when you consider we don't have a whole lot of snowplows on this side of the Cascades.  We've got more snow on the western side of the mountains than the eastern side has - and I can't ever remember THAT happening!

No, tropical is when you get up in Christmas Eve morning and find it's 30 degrees warmer (66+F) than it was when you went to bed...like being in Hawaii, very humid and rainy.  Had a nice visit over in Little Rock (where it was sunny any pleasant) at the "Art of the Chopper" exhibition at the Clinton Presidential Library.  Time for all good Bandits to be in bed or Santa won't bring any new toys!

So again, Merry Christmas, everyone!

Then I guess no one wants to hear how wet and muddy the Bandit got on my daily commute this week....  ;)

Happy to report that my recently purchased Fieldsheer HydroTour jacket and Gaerne Panorama boots kept me warm and dry.

Merry XMas, Happy Holidays, or good wishes to whatever you celebrate!

Rob in HMB, CA, where it's 40 to 55 (Farenheit) and raining.
'02 B12, Givi topcase (waterproof!), National Cycle Plexistar 2 (wind/cold/rain protection!!), and Suzuki case guards (happily didn't need this week, but they've previously proven their worth - don't ask how I know ;)

Christmas day here was high '50s and sunny, so I did get out for a short jaunt just bacause. (See below.)

In the past 10 days we've had ice, hot and rainy, fog, cold and clear, cold and rainy...pretty much anything other than frogs and locusts.  This place has the most unpredictable winter weather of any place I've lived.

Do these balls make my bike look small?

Here in Tampa, FL, it's always riding weather. Gotta feel sorry for everyone stuck in the snow and ice. C'mon down!
