At first I thought that there is no way that this could be a Bandit, but then I looked closer and saw the tank. :duh:   It is a Bandit and I can't believe that under all the stuff, there is a Bandit.

That bike belongs to one of our own members (Fracl)... be careful what you say, she might ride over to your place and kick your butt.  :motorsmile:

That's Claudia, Fracl, and the fairing is an early '80's Pichler  (Sp?) Fairing she's had on 6-7 different Suzukis, since it was new.   She's on here every once in a while.   She rides that to all our rallys from Kentucky.  Don't mess with her, there's a button for a 'death ray' on the fairing console....

IIRC, it's the same as the fairing used on one of the bikes in Mad Max.  In addition to the death ray, she's got a car stereo in there as well as a plaque from Suzuki commemerating her 300K miles on Zuks!

I doesn't surprise me that she is a member here, I just have never seen a fairing like that before.  As well with the rest of the accessories on the rear.

Not sure what the trunk is, but the saddle bags look to be Corbin's Beetle Bags.

Personally, I've always thought it was kind of cool.

I'm one of thoes dudes that pretty much leaves his vehicles alone.  I mean, I peeled the stickers off the Bandit, and put a bell on it, but that's about it.

I can definitely respect someone that will make somethign their own like that.

To top it off, she's apparently got a thing for that fairing, if it's been on many different bikes.  That's sort of cool also.  Like getting a new bike, yet it's familiar.

I'm strange.

If you look close, you can see where a wheelieing Wing was chopped out and Fracl pasted in its place.  :grin:
