Goldfren Brake Pads?
« on: February 25, 2009, 07:21:05 PM »
Since they seem to be more popular outside the USA, this is probably a question more for the UK/Aussie/Euro members...

What is the reputation of Goldfren S3 Racing brake pads?

But Victor even if you had those tits mate, we still wouldn't want to hump you.:bigok:

Ok back to Pauls question, yes mate have been using them for years, on both the Bandit, and the ZRX, in fact got turned on to them when we ran the 2 Suzuki across's as courier bikes.

I know I've heard all the stories how ya wear out the rotors quicker, blah blah blah.... But the bottom line is they stop ya. Good feel, pretty good pad life. At 100,000k's I replaced the Bandit rotors not because they where worn but because the buttons where shot.

Why not new buttons, it was cheaper to pull, a near new set of rotors from a wrecked SV650, than to replace the buttons :duh:

The ZRX is closing in on 90'000k's and still have heaps of meat left on the rotors.

All in all, a good quailty pad, and a ripper price toboot. :thumb:
