Hey Bandit addicts, my new TV-Web show
The Planet Tour has launched!!
I thought I would start a new thread on this as it is now going to be actual episodes instead of the pilot episodes of before.
My '08 Bandit, Suzy B (the name I dubbed my bike) is of course the true talent in this show.
While I had hoped for a larger budget to start I am working with what I do have. Seems last years economic meltdown hit a lot of budgets. Currently I am doing all the shooting, similar to Les Stroud of "Survivorman" TV show, only my video won't take a year to be seen like the dinosaur of television. Out goal is to keep it to a week behind real time. We are concentrating on the internet and moving to HighDef soon.
The new website is up and will continue to grow as we make changes.
http://www.theplanettour.com/The show concept is me, living off the bike as I ride from one comedy show to the next and share what happens on the way. No fake reality BS, no staged fights with a dysfunctional family (although if I see one I may record them!)
I just did a 10 day run to test the gear and such and to pick up a new camera from a sponsor on the west coast. While the first episode has limited on-road footage that will change in the next episode as I have some great shots from my new GoPro. Second episode should be up by the weekend. The 3rd will be very shortly behind that.
Please subscribe so you don't miss any of the prize giveaways, discount offers and of course the new episodes.
There is a subscribe link on the bottom of each webpage.
http://www.theplanettour.com/Season one is going to be across Canada but your local area can get involved too. We have a business directory of services by area. These are for
quality service or products, so if you know of any in your area that riders and travelers have them get ahold of us.
