Guess I'm in the minority so far.    I like the whole unabridged Bandit history all in one place.

You really did a wonderful job with that, Paul.  Informative.  Very well written.  Nicely laid out.  Love it.

The one page is impressive but the linked page loads quicker and is easier to find the exact information you're looking for - so I voted for the linked page.

BTW - Thanks for adding the 2005 pic.

Well if BABB has any future and I'm optimistic that it does, option 2 is the only one that makes sense from a scalability standpoint. Unless I'm missing something like the last photo I coulden't find.

Exactly.  This is the way it would be done in any excyclopedia, knowledge base, etc.

I really prefer option one as it looks better is generally laid out better and everything is there.
If you want links to aid in finding the information you want quicker im sure Paul can setup "Bookmarks" to different sections of the page. e.g. 400, 600. (the different generations etc)

Thats how i'd like it otherwise it ends up too messy and complicated, but agreed without "links" (bookmarks) it can take ages to find the bit of information your after (unless you ride a 250-400 Bandit lol)

  That is already there.   
Top of the page, in the upper RH corner (opposite the "Suzuki Bandit" title), in the box called "Table of Contents"   
Each model and generation is listed and if you click what you want, it'll take you there. 
I'd love to take credit for that, but I can't.  It builds a ToC automagically when you build the wiki page with the tool Stormi loaded into the site.

I really like option one.   I personally like the idea of just scrolling down and seeing the different generations.

rofl i noticed that pretty much as soon as i'd looked at the page again! Felt like bit of a prat!! 

Still i stick with my original choice i still prefer the "All in One"

One thing that that everyone needs to understand is that the wiki will not be just one or two pages.  If we build it out with the knowledge that is buried in these forums, with information about what parts can be swapped between different models, how to convert a faired model to a naked model (or vice versa), how to repair, etc., there will be a LOT of pages and the information will be model/year specific.  That's why how information is segmented makes a big difference.

I agree and that makes sense.  I'm certainly not a wiki expert.  I just thought THIS would be ONE of the pages or a front page - kind of a grand Bandit history or overview where scalability wouldn't be an issue.  Like I said, I'm not a wiki expert and I may be totally missing the point.  It would NOT be the first time!

I like the second one as well.  Both look great, but 2 will be more maintainable, because it's more modular.  I guess that's just a throwback from my days as a programmer.  modular usually means more adaptable and more changeable.

Plus, from a printing POV, people who print it will be more interested in one or two gens, as opposed to all of it.  So it would be more printer friendly too with the second option.
