I would like to see how good of a motorcycle photographer you are. Add one or two of your best photo's that you have taken. Here are some of my best shots:

Nice pics, Solman!
I like this one because of the organic horse behind the steel one:
I found that getting down low with the camera makes the bike look more impressive:

Chopped the mirror, but I was going for the big engine:

To be honest, I'm more of a snapshot guy than a hobby photographer, but once in a while I get lucky.

There are some nice shots. As far as the video goes, it is nice, but not exactly what I had in mind for this thread. I recently bought a new 7.1 mp fujifilm and I can't wait for the opportunity to take some nice shots with it.

Getting low does give a cool perspective. Here's the best of the ole B4 I have uploaded:

The ministers old bike RIP :stfu:

I can't believe you included a picture of the H, Ho, Hon.....pink piece of shyte.... :stickpoke:
-
Hey it was a great paint job, (if ya like pink bikes the minister does, she wants me to do the B6 in pink too)
I dont think so. At fist I thought with the first H you was gunna say Hardly dangerous. :duh:
-
I would never hang shyte on a hardly dangerous.....
but only because without people buying HD's and all the accessories that go with them, I'd never been able to afford the B12 or the M750

Well, my "creativity quotient" for most things requiring such talents approaches that of a fence post.....but occasionally I get lucky (no "woodie" jokes please)
Here's #17 in her natural element in a couple of my favourite shots:
(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/BC%20Trip/th_DSCF0580.jpg) (http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/BC%20Trip/DSCF0580.jpg)
At the Continental Divide in the Rockies (about 1.5 hours west of CowTown) on the way home after the Labour Day trip last year.
(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/Labour%20Day%20Trip/th_DSCF0443.jpg) (http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/Labour%20Day%20Trip/DSCF0443.jpg)
This is in the Rockies on the highest paved road in Canada. This was the very first trip I took #17 on....even though it was just a day trip.
(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/th_P1010028.jpg) (http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i234/H2RICK/P1010028.jpg)
And, of course, this is the first hit of the starter button after I assembled her. What the heck, call me a sentimental fool, but it was a big day for me. My first new street bike in 36 years.....

I would like to see how good of a motorcycle photographer you are. Add one or two of your best photo's
Solman, I took that to mean photos with motorcycles as the main subject, as if meant for the cover of a magazine or in an article. Photos meant to show off the bike, not the scenery or groups of bikes.
Is that what you had in mind?
They are all great pics though, I'm not criticizing anybody... :bigok:

Basiccally what I meant was your money shots. Shots that you took time to try and get the best lighting and back ground. That is basically why I posted the title "Best pics"
-
I didn't take this, but it is a good one.
Should have been all Bandits.
-
That reminds me of two years ago, when I was living in Manhattan, and the motorcycle squad got their new scooters.
Police would effectively shut down a street to do maneuvers, then they'd all stop and park them in sync.

Thanks. I had originally skipped those when selecting my pics for my first post in this thread because I didn't think they were sharp enough.

GREAT PHOTOS.....

I would love to go on a ride with that many Bandits. Unfortunately, I know only 1 person with a B12 whom I ride with regularly.
-
Well, the pics were taken at a Banditfest... I was a little disappointed we could only get 8 to show up out of the entire Pacific Northwest between two sites - and the lodging & salmon dinner was free! (And two of the Bandits - the ones on each end of the shot - belonged to the host & his wife.)
-
Damn shame that I can't make it up that way. Looks like some nice scenery.

I took these pictures in Taft, Calif, yesterday. The two guys that have these hot rods are in their 70s, and still love these cars. the two roadsters are hand built. Jerry built the frames and bodies in his home shop, they are aluminum.

That is a interesting picture. Was it really that purple at that time or did you do something with the picture?

Here is the untouched photo- just sized down. I use the color enhancer on most of my resized pics- cuz it sharpens them up.
side by side- untouched- enhanced.

A buddy from Wisconson was down for the weekend to ride the great roads we have in Southern Missouri.
He rode his Triumph Daytona 675 and me on the B1250.
We did 5 counties and a part of northern Arkansas of the best twisties and roller-coaster roads there are.
This is a scenic overlook just west of Eminence on MO 106 in the National Forest:
I had a Sport Attack mounted just for his visit, he had a new set of Pilot Powers.
Needless to say, we had the chicken-strips scrubbed off the first day out:
The Bandit did a great job setting a smokin' pace with the Daytona.
What a fun little corner-carver that Triple is! :bandit:

Here is the only gooder I have of mine thus far... I didn't take it and haven't had a chance to get more since I crashed. It'll be better then when I got it in the next week or so... more to come for sure!

This was from a poker run to Camp Thunderbird in Apopka, Florida. The camp is for older mentally challenged people from all over North America. The three young men in this shot would have a hard time constructing a single sentence between them, but were thrilled to see our bikes and couldn't soak up enough of just being near them. This was one of the best days I've ever had on a motorcycle anywhere. God bless the people at Quest.

Thanks. Don't want to muddle this thread and you probubly heard my story over at Maxzuk that I got cold feet with the C14 ongoing problems and decided late that all the good propaganda press on the B1250 must mean something and the OTD price was too good to pass up at $7800. The OEM matching bags are on back order, might as well do it right this time. My overall assessment, after 3 weeks still in stupefaction over this bikes ride.

:bigok: I see you have the faster red one. :beers:
