Motorcyclist throwing bricks at cars
MUAR: A scooter rider went on a brick-throwing rampage, causing injuries to three motorists and a car passenger.
The unidentified rider first threw a brick at a car along Jalan Tengku Bendahara about 9.45pm on Saturday. The driver escaped unhurt as the brick landed on the roof of his car.
Another motorist, Chin Cheng Yang, 24, and his friend Yee Lang Siang, 21, were not so fortunate.
BADLY HURT: Chong suffered serious injuries to the face and head.
The brick smashed Chin's car windscreen, causing him to lose control and hit a lamp-post at Jalan Junid shortly after 11pm.
Chin and Yee were rushed to Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital and had to be warded for treatment.
In the third incident, Chong Ah Poh, 40, who was driving along Jalan Sultan Ibrahim to fetch her daughter was injured after the man hurled a brick that smashed his windscreen and hit him.
Chong, who suffered serious injuries to the face and head, was first rushed to the hospital here, but later transferred to Pantai Specialist Hospital in Malacca.
The fourth incident happened at Jalan Tengku Bendahara before midnight, again injuring a motorist.
Muar police chief Asst Comm Daud Ahmad said police were investigating the cases.
