I know, But it`s time so. I think this set of tires I`m going to try the road pilots? All I need is a good place to buy them. It seems like there are so many choices. Any info.

Do you have a Cycle Gear store near you? They have prices close to what you can mail order them for, without shipping costs. See their website for locations.

Check out Ridenow.com or SWMoto.com (not sure the url's are totally correct) but I've had great luck with both.
SWM will give free shipping when ordering two or more tires together. Ridenow will be a little cheaper but charges freight per tire - and sales tax is some locations.

If you live in a bigger city with lot's of shops around, you would surpised with the deals you can find. Sometimes stores get a over stock or outdated stock. So they lower the prices to get rid of them. I recently saw a set of Dunlop's 208's for $175 a pair. I got lucky with my Metzler's and got a really good deal from a cycle gear. I normally seem to find better deals in stores than online.

I have a Pirelli Diablo Strada 120/70 ready to go on the front. But need a rear 160/? shop has a 160/60 is that a good size match or should I order and wait for a 160/70?
I have Strada front in the shed so going with Strada rear one more time. I'm running a Diablo Strada 160/60 rear and a Diablo (not Strada) 120/60 front.
sorry for highjacking!

I just put a new back 208 Qualifier on the SV along with a front to match with 2700 on it. Its going to kill me not to go do track time on them now. Not enough time &$this year. I have a set of Conti road attacks on deck for the Bandit when I need them. Thats whats on them now, with a 60 series up front. They do pretty well, and are priced right to boot. Dan

Sometimes you can find a good deal on e-bay. I bought some new Diablo Stradas from a guy that bought them for his bike, but totalled the bike before he could put them on. Got them cheap and they are great tires!

I went with the Shinko 009s. I love these tires... and at about $165 total for both front and rear shipped to my door, I have more money for other things! :bigok:

I went with the Pilot Power 2CT's. I run the living hell out of my bike and have been loving every minute of these tires. They seam to be lasting pretty well on the highway too with 1,000 miles on them.
I highly recommend them if you ride hard

Sure is. I am one of the few unfortunate ones.

I've ordered from here a few times: www.motoxoutlet.com (http://www.motoxoutlet.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=651)
Pretty good pricing from other places I've seen. They do charge freight per tire, but it isn't too bad. Most of the time it still ends up being cheaper than other sites I've come across.
