Title: Corbin
Post by: Swamp Rat on March 13, 2005, 10:24:43 AM
I won a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady on ebay. I hope it is worth the $322. It comes with the back rest too. Well enough of asking others and time to find out for myself if it meets up to the hype. My wife will either shoot me or love me more. Should be here next week sometime.

I finally got to test ride my Corbin yesterday[3/21/05]. It was worth the money. At first I thought it would beat the crap out me because of how firm it is...butt { pun intended} I was pleasantly suprised at how well it absorbed the bumps. My wife loves it too especially the back rest. I haven't taken a long ride with it  however, though I figure I won't be dissapointed with that either. Thanks for the earleir input on another thread helped make the decision easier for me. Glad I got one now.

I had one on my ZX6 and spent many 10 hour days in the saddle. I couldn't go an hour on the stock seat. The Fabric on the Corbin split after about 8 years so I just had it recovered locally.

thats a good price for both.  I have a corbin and want a backrest but they're over $200 new and I wouldn't use it that much.  The corbin is good for long days in the saddle.  I think the stock seat positions you better for aggressive riding in the twisties, but the corbin can be made to work with a little body english.

Recently bought a new corbin with the backrest. Had to send it back for a pocket adjustment as I am somewhat vertically challenged.
Got it back to me in about 3 weeks.
Wife loves it, and I am growing to love it. Did take about 400 miles to break in, but well worth the expense.
Well made, excellent fit with the adjustment.
