Dirt bikes & squids

I have been riding for years and there is no way I can catch one of these agile kids (12-18) on a dirt bike with a dirt bike. Its the perfect get away machine usually having no plate or registration for positive ID. They could shoot them but that wouldn't go over well. The only other way would be to have an undercover unit of very young cop dirt bikers because the middle age donut rollers would never measure up. Then all they would have to do is take names for 6 months then bust most of them. Pound for pound dirt bikes are very expensive and valuable. I am not sure though that auctioning them off in the city would be a good idea.

Why not? If they end up back in the hands of the same types they were taken from, they could just auction them off again and again. Could end up being a good source of cash for the city.

Not that much different than how my state enforces ORV tags on dirt bikes in the woods. They put a few young rangers & deputies on dirt bikes and have them go out on the trails and make "public contacts."

It would be entertaining to see a cop on a Honda CRF450x with a light and siren chasing down other dirt bikes across lawns, municipal parks and storm drain canals. They would probubly get even more revenue selling the chase scenes complete with free style maneuvers.
