Ouch. :annoy: I think that's the approximate price in the U.K. also. Most Euro nations tax fuel to death.

I saw $2.93 here yesterday. Good thing the Jeep gets such good gas mileage (well, when it sits at the airport for weeks at a time). :)

The price difference between border towns of Needles California and crossing the Colorado int Bullhead City Arizona is shocking. Needles California is the first gas stop after a 140 mile ride east on I40 through the desert and the gas prices are between $4.50-$3.95 a gallon then just 3 miles down the road you cross the Colorado River into Bullhead City the gas prices drop dramatically to $2.75-$2.98 a gallon.

Up here in the Puget Sound area, unleaded regular is $3.13/US gal. at the cheaper stations, 20-30¢ more in some of the metro Seattle areas. Add another 10-15¢ for each upgrade in octane.

Down here in this corner of the USA (San Diego) I just payed $3.35 a gallon for 87 octane, thats down about 4cents from last week.
