Bill - I edited your post to eliminate that huge url. Depending on what browser you use, it would stretch the screen endlessly.
It's a good read.

Yeah, if my heart's in my mouth, I'm screwing up.
If I make a noise like a suction cup breaking loose when I dismount....I really was screwing up!
Miles after miles of fastish, smooth riding in the twisties, with no drama. That's a good day!

Thanks, Rob. Have to figger that one out yet.
Even on a 'bad' day riding, it still beats GOLF!

Good article. I've seen this happen right in front of me at Deals Gap. Watched a rider desperately trying to stay in front, wouldn't pull over, started making little mistakes and getting herky jerky correcting them, then smash, he went down. Luckily not hurt bad, but it was a lesson to me in two ways. One, if a faster rider is behind me, and there has been, I always pull over and wave them by. Two, I'll never again ride someones tail who seems to be riding over their limit desperate to keep in front of me, I'll just pull over, wait, and resume my ride.

Heheh....the older ya gets, the easier it is to ease over and wave the rider by.

Yup! The older I get, the faster I was.
That doesn't mean I don't have fun these days with the throttle tho...

Great article - Good enough to e-mail to my riding buddies!
