Wow today is about 45 degrees fahrenheit and sunny in Toronto. Awsome riding weather. I shouldn't have worn that extra sweater, was hot on the way to work. Unfourtunatley I forgot to prime the carbs so it was lean as hell untill a block from my work when the gas leveled out in the carbs and I had full power. Doh!!! I'll be sure to prime them next time. Tomorrow is supposed to be 50 and sunny! Nice. Global warming, finally the scientists have been promising and promising and now we see some results! Makes me want to buy a cow for my backyard to do my part
Anyone else in the northern US/Southern Canada go riding today?
-
If the roads were dry today I'd be out there.
We're about 40F today....just REALLY WET & Salty.....
:crybaby:

It sure was damn nice in Buffalo this morning, but I worked through the nice weather and now it's raining. Glad to see you got a ride in!
I'll be riding into work tomorrow and/or Friday!

I'm in Vancouver and I think I've been out every day this year although I must admit to getting drenched a couple times. If we didn't ride in the rain here we wouldn't ride much. For a change you've had warmer weather in the east than we've had here from what I see on TV. It's 8 degree C here today.

70F in Dallas today with lots of sunshine, wondering how long this is gonna last.
-
70? Damn you! I wonder if the US will allow me a greencard for the winter!
-
NOPE! We only give those to mexicans. And Tim Hortons employees.
-
Maybe I could vacation in Mexico, and try to slip over the border with the rest of the border jumpers. If they try to talk to me in Spanish I'll just blurt out "Yo chiro Taco Bell!"
-
When it's nice like this I prefer to leave the bike home...I had a blast riding all week about 2 weeks ago or so in 25 - 35 degrees though! Why my schedule can't mesh with the weather pattern, I'll never know! :boohoo:
-
I'm out today again. Love this climate change but I ask....How can I do my part for global warming?
Just looked at the 14 day forcast looks like I'll be riding up untill the end of the month. With the exception of a few days all above freezing.

I used too hate riding past Tacoma back in the 70's, man that place smelled bad :stickpoke:
-
Hey, watch the wise cracks about Tacoma. We're proud of the "Aroma from Tacoma" and are famous for it. The smelter that caused most of the the aroma was shut down so we're low level now. There are still a few strange smells now and then but thats heavy industry for you. At least we don't have Asarco's arsenic, mercury, and lead raining down on us anymore.
-
Hey tacoman,
would that be the old Kaiser Aluminum smelter you are refering to? Just curious as I used to work for Kaiser down here in La.

You can have global warming for mine, 85 - 95 F for last 2 months and humid to boot. Too hot to ride. Winter is pleasant though.

Now Feliz:
Tell the fine folks of your 1 day short of a record rainfall!
hehehe

But really, I could have riden every day here in Edmonton so far, but I am old & wise. Yes, you can jump on a bike at -5. You can also ride a snowmobile naked but why?
