Hey all, been reading the posts forever, thought I'd join.  Got a '99 1200 S-model which I'm trying to convert to a standard headlight job.  Live near Portland, Oregon.  Infatuated with 70s bikes - first mad max film most likely to blame (also in the garage is a Kawasaki Zephyr 750 as a way to reconcile infatuation).  Exercise also occurs on two wheels, road and mountain bikes.  Biggest flaw: taking things apart.  Favorite all time bike has to be the Kawasaki Z1 (pictured here in its MFP garb) but a GS1000S would be a close second.
