You may notice that there are some new moderators on the board. I simply can't keep up with all the God damned spammers anymore. A couple people have volunteered to help delete these bullshit posts. I very sincerely thank them for doing so. They have Mod powers for all forums meaning they can delete or move posts and threads.
Hopefully, this spam invasion will be temporary. As always, if it looks suspicious and is from a member with whom you're not familiar... DON'T CLICK ON IT. Use your head. Click links on this board at your own risk.
Happy Holidays to all (except the f-ing spammers who can all die slow, painfull deaths).

DON'T reply to the spammers.
If you do, when their post is quoted in your posts, then we have to decide whether to:
1: remove your post too
2: leave your post and risk members clicking on the link in your post
3: edit your post
4: PM you to edit your own post.
1, 3, and 4 really smack of censorship to me, and I don't think it's in keeping with the spirit of this board, but 2 is a little to dangerous for me to want to leave them.
Any preferences?

Well Great!! I logon on at least once a day and use "View posts since last visit" And Crap about 30 post from about 4 users. Then have to wade through the Crap to see the real stuff.

Stormi - if the spammer started the thread, kill the whole thing. I'm not too worried with free speech, either... half you people are Canadian for christ's sake! :monkeymoon: Just delete the quoted posts, too. If anyone gets their feelings hurt, I apologize.

LOL! I was more thinking in context of a post that was within a legit post. As some of the asshats (spammers, not members) have been doing lately. But OK,.. that's the official word,.. both spammer and replies to spammers will be deleted.
It's more in keeping with the way I admin anyway. Just ask the other half,.. I'm a mean systems admin. :)

A special :thanks: to all of you that are maintaining this board! I accidently clicked on one myself (not reading 1st and thinking it was on topic) I deleted it amedeitly(sp),but was sweating that I could have picked something up.Nothing came up in the Anti-Virus,but it sure pisses ya off to see that crap weasle in. (the bastards!) I'll pay more attension(or put on my glasses) for now on. Dan
