Anyone replace their stock handlebars with a higher-rise set? I'm looking at the Emgo Daytona Touring with a 4" rise (stock appears to be about 2"), but thinking 4" may be too much.
Thanks for any input.

Why not buy some bar risers????

I picked up a set very similar to those pictured. Haven't been able to install them yet as it will also require longer throttle cable, clutch cable, brake line and maybe choke cable. Bigger job than it first appears.

have those already. Guess I should have 'splained the reason for my question - I want to try National Cycle's Plexifairing GT screen for winter commuting. I'm looking for bars with a higher rise because I don't think my stock bars have enough room for the windshield mounts.

I bought GenMar risers and am quite happy with them. The come with a longer brake line which is a good time to change your front brake fluid.
These risers alow a much better posture/ergometrics for long rides. I also added Suzi crash bars around the motor with cheap front pegs which are great for leg relief, especially if you're wearing a road suit/armor.
I've looked at FJR's, Concours etc. and they all trap your legs in bent position with no relief.
Dam Snow up here in Ontario. :annoy:
