Ok.. I could swear I read this here, but since I can't find it anywhere with any of the search words I've used, here it goes.
Orginal linkI found a link to this somewhere, and since the 919 needs a front tire, and since I don't have a centrestand on it, we built this.
It's pretty sturdy, don't push on it if it's not loaded, but it's holding the bike securely right now. The parts may be $48 in the states, but here we get bent over for $90 in parts, but since it will save me about $40 on the first tire change, and it can be used for all 4 of our bikes, it should pay for itself quickly.
This is ours, with the 919 "hanging" from it
I put the motocycle lift under the forks for the night, for my own peace of mind. I had terrible visions of the carnage that would happen if the bike managed to fall. Squished Dita, Bashed up 919, and somehow, I know that the dirtbikes ( behind me in this pic) would get into the action as well.
