a friend of mine (a roofer in florida during the winter  ) was just home for a few days here and purchased an 06 gsxr 1000 .he wants me to go pick it up for him (what gall )when it`s ready and have the break in miles on it for him when he gets back in june (the nerve ) didnt even offer me the new color matched helmet (how rude ) why do i let friends walk all over me :lol:

Maybe by the time he comes to get it, it'll be a GSXR1200 and you'll have a 1000 Bandit...  :wink:

well I drove it home 6.5 miles today. my bandit has nothing to worry about as far as keeping a home .for being injected youd think it would be smoother running (my bandit starts and runs smoother ). definately can corner, however when the rear started getting squirelly on me i let up (new tires :duh: ) cant wait to get some miles on so i can start flogging her . tach never seen more then 6000 so i cant really report on performance. started pulling off the safety stickers tonight for him and gave him a list of much needed mods after it is broken in starting with a can to replace that butt ugly stocker  :shock: M
