I got my March ride in yesterday finally. Sunny, but still in the mid 40s.Alotta loose stuff when getting off the main roads made it a little squirly at times.Sure felt good to get it out though. Put on over 100 quick miles with nose sickles hangin' under my shield. And I just watched 2wheel Tues.,talking about track days. Man do I ever got the bug now!
Suposed to warm up abit, time for a good cleaning and a good going over befor the next ride.

Feels good, doesn't it. I was thinking tonight would have been good for a ride here, too. My son had baseball practice, though.

Don't worry -- I haven't been out yet this year and there's been loads of great nights. The bikes finally in one piece now so I should be set for the weekend!

I was out at least once every month this year(my cycle year starts in april since that was the month I bought it). Last two years I got every month but February. Got 200 miles in in February this year   . I just hope this summer is as good weather wise as last!!

I really feel for you guys I transplanted to the left coast in the early 80's from Ohio to No Cal and decided to move to the L.A. area in 98. You can't Beotch about the riding weather to much I rode with my brother in law Christmas day, the weather was in the low 80's and did a ride with a few members from the ZRXOA a couple of weeks ago with the weather in the 60's can't say I miss the cold weather! If you can deal with the earthquakes and the traffic it's not a bad deal (don’t forget the occasional drive by shooting)!

The taxes were enough to drive me out, but the real estate prices, bad air and millions of people were also contributing factors to my return to the Northwet. (sic)
I'll admit, the rain up here sux. Maybe when I retire, Nevada will still be a good place to go.

I hear you RED those are the bigger down falls!
I bought my house a few years back when real-estate was still cheap and, trust me I've considered selling the old homestead and moving on but, spent last weekend on the Beach with the family in Santa Barbara and it makes it a tuff decision!

In Pa.(at least the N.W.corner) even after it warms up the roads are crap.If you get off the mains roads as I ussally like to do,they look like they've been targeted by a air strike. The freeze-thaw just tears them up. We need a couple of heavy down pours too, to wash off all the salt and crap. Then soon as they get drive able again, next thing ya know they put down tar and chips so the intersections are like driving on marbles and makes a mess of your bike. So I make detours.I'll be spoiled after going to N.Carolina. I took the bike to the body shop yesterday, today I'll strip the back and try to straighten the subframe best I can.

I seem to remember going for a glorious slide in the sinders during a spring thaw back in Ohio. I don't know which sick mind came up with that as alternative for traction control over salt but I sure remember some ugly nurse scrubbing them out of my thigh and my backside with a scrub brush in the ER after that dump!
