so JR, planning to ride now? it should be a good time of the year considering the weather. If you have the time, would be fun to go for it.

Well, I can hardly get an attitude adjustment riding courier work in the CBD.

I could however nick off early, problem is, no pay.
And the other work don't pay while i'm out having fun.

And i'm a real prick to work for, just ask me.

All great responses thanks for the feed back. The wife says ride if you want. 1100 miles in two days. I have a list of pros and cons, its about 50/50. I guess i`ll have to flip a quarter? Oh well, either way at least I get to go on a cool trip.

Do it! You've gotta give it a try at least once to see if it's for you or not, and 550 mile days are pretty easy to do on a Bandit.

I bought my B12 in August of 01 and have put 34,000 miles on it and another 12,000 miles on my KLR during that same period of time. Ninety per cent of it has been alone. Sure something can happen to you out there, but if you are on a motorcycle, you are part of a unique fraternity that willing lends a helping hand. Twice, when I have been stranded with serious breakdowns, total strangers have stopped to see if they could help because they too were motorcycle riders and then gone home to get their motorcycle trailers and haul my bike to a place I could get assistance. It's hard to beat that kind of camaraderie. However, the next long trip I make, I will buy into a road side service.

I`m going to ride my bike to AR. I`m not the problem. The wife is the one Who thinks it`s to far. But she`s cool now. Looking forward to the 1100 miles alone.
