Title: Is there a way to get a light inside the Bandit's Top case?
Post by: Eleggua on August 06, 2007, 04:02:49 AM
Hi,

I've got 200 miles on my new Bandit and just loving it.

My wife was following me the other day and noticed that I'm not very visible, especially at night.

I have the Suzuki top case on it now (waiting for the side mounts and I'll have those cases on too) and it looks like I should be able to get a light in it.

A light would sure make this much safer.

Any thoughts?

Since it's made by Givi, I'd think the Givi light kit would work.

According to my dealer who spoke with Givi this AM, they made the case for Suzuki but did something a bit custom for them so their standard light won't work.  :-(.

Go to a junkyard and find a suitable light off a car.

What I did with my GIVI case was take the red plastic off and put reflective tape under and then screwed the plastic back on.
I got my reflective tape from here:
