>>It's obvious that they are trying to emulate the major Japanese...<<

A bit insulting, but, oh well. You know, I have to admit I'm impressed that a lame cruiser manufacturer would tread such turf. Brave indeed if they went right to market with it, if it is feasible to manufacture for them. It would certainly raise a LOT of eyebrows if it was actually relatively affordable. Can you imagine?

I mean, just think of Harley and it's lame Harleys and Buells. That would would change the American bike landscape overnight.

I hope they're REALLY brave. That would be SUCH a GRAND wake-up call in the American bike market.

I wish they would make it!  I would definitely sign up for a demo ride! I think if it was priced right, it would be a big seller.  It would take some time for it to grow on you before you liked the looks of it.

no way, that thing is even uglier than a BUELL!  and I'm sorry but I don't want an automatic transmission, it'd be like an 800cc rupp minibike.

I think it's interesting, but has some practicality issues.  HOwever, concept bikes and concept autos are more about design than production.  It's sort of odd with that massive front end and NO wind protection...but then a windscreen would ruin the sculpted lines, right?

"Is this Victory's attempt to gain respect as a "real" manufacturer, or will we actually see something similar to the Vision in production form? Only time will tell."

.....Lets hope not!

How the hell do you steer the thing, it doesn't even look as if the handlebars will move.

It looks like a banana slug on two wheels. And is probably just as fast, they should have spend the money to make the model on beer.

I don't care for it much.  Would look cool in a sci fi flick.  I do see potential there, though.  It is a concept bike, afterall.

I think it's a positive step for them.  Wish we'd get away from the cruiser thing...it's so limiting.

Or am I "out of it" and the modern cruisers are just wondrous and I don't know what I'm talking about, not having driven one.  Last cruiser I had was an '80 H-D 1340 Lowrider.  Could it be that the Boulevards and others are slick handling hotrods and I ought to give 'em a chance?

I wonder...

Modern Jap cruisers are comfy, fun and good every day bikes.
I rode a lot of them when I still worked at the shop.  I like the Kaw. Vulcans the best.

You're all being terribly unfair!  Clearly it's still draped in some kind of high tech cover and it hasn't been unveiled yet!

or

Too bad they didn't get a picture before the crashed the one-and-only prototype into a wall!

or

"The Vision is powered by an 800cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, and power is transferred through a fully-automatic CVT "  - Ah!  That explains it!  It's not a motorcycle, it's actually a Polaris SNOWMOBILE!  They just haven't put the skis on it yet!

Just havin' fun - It's not my style, but if companies never tried anything new we'd be stuck with one, old design!
