Hey!  Bandit Alley is Back!  Man, I got in a LOT of riding while it was down but I'm glad to see it back - I had a few mods I was wanting to get done when the disappearing act occured.

So, what's everybody been up to with the site down?  JimBrough, did you get the DTs? :lol:

Hell ya!!!!   It's BACK !!!!!!!!.......   So glad to see nothing was lost.  Looking forward to getting reaquainted.  

Soooooo...... what the heck happened????

At least there isn't 2 weeks worth of posts to get caught up on.

Pete's domain registration expired.  When that happens, the domain goes into "registrar hold" which means the domain isn't available for sale yet, but it's also removed from all the Name server records, pending payment or deletion.  

I suspect that if we'd known the IP of the server, we might have still been able to access the board, depending on how nice phpBB played with IP addesses, instead of the website name.

Oh crap,.. I just geeked out on you guys, didn't I?

Oh, absolutely!  Cooties for sure!  Like, when I bought my B12S, at the dealership I asked about the previous owner and turns out it was a ... a ... a ... a girl!  :shock:   Imagine my dismay!  I had just bought a girl's bike!  The shame!

Well, as you may surmise, I spent days cleaning and sterilizing that thing before it was safe for a macho man like me to sit on.  Glad you understand!  :grin:

Man it was like the lights went out.  Here I was thinking that because I had bought a H***a I had been banished to a life without Bandit Alley.

My wife told me to stop sulking and get on with life but I just couldn't give up hope.  I tried logging in sooo many times only to get nothing in return.

And here we are again just when I was going to pummet into my darkest moment and join a H***a chat group, one more try and the light is on again.

Gee I am glad all is right with the world again   :motorsmile:

In that case it is either a fashion statement - and he doesn't want to suffer the ridicule of his male riding friends for riding on last year's best tire - or the sand and mud are in more places than just the old worn out tires.
