My trip to St.Clairsville got pushed back a couple days while waiting for tile,I'll be leaving this morning for the land of good roads. Well it worked out well, because I had time to stop a local dealer Mon,gary(the manager) told me about the Bandit he just picked up still in the back pole barn. So on my way out I checked it out. A 2004,I thought it was green, but actully black. Turned it on and had only 830 miles on it. I called my bro to tell him and he said he took a test ride on a Kaw 1000 Concord, and was going to buy it. I convinced him to look at the Bandit 1st. On my way home I got a call from my bro,and he bought the Bandit. He's thrilled! I took her for a ride, definatly smoother and more comfortable seat then my 1st generation. But mine feels lighter up front where the new bike you use a little more push- pull on the bars.Must be the diference in weight of the fairing. My bro told my wife,"Now I no why Dan is such a good rider, its the bike!" Glad I could help steer him in the direction of the Bandit. He paid $5700,probably could have bargined a little better. But it is a new bike as far as miles, still getting broke in. Dan
