Hi all,
  Just got my cable back yesterday wich was out for 3 weeks thanks to Katrina. Can't help but notice there seems to be quite a number of new posts...more so than usual. Is it my imagination or do we have alot more members these days? It's going to take me several hours to go thruogh them all....wich will be my pleasure I'm sure.
  Oh well, good to be back and I look forward to reading all the new posts.

Are you the guy in Slidell?   We did have a member in Slidell, which was hit pretty hard. :shock:   Hope you're OK, and glad to see you back! :beers:

The bike is fine though the shed it is in took a hit to the roof just a ding on the tin roof. I only had one tree and several branches fall with very little damage. I was without power for 6 days and without cable for about 3 weeks. A minor inconveiance compared to others.
  No, I'm not in Slidel. I'm about 40 miles NNW from there. I hope he fared well. They took a hell of a hit there.

 If I remember right, he was retired Coast Guard.....that may help!
